Fencing

Here we got Eric in a fencing dress, you got to have this much protections so you don’t get hurt by the swords you use. They are not a sharp swords of course but it can hurt and you get a really bad bruise.
And it’s a pretty good way to get fit.
It’s a game were you hit your opponent with your sword, in Swedish värja floret or sabel, the game ends when either you or your opponent have reached either 5, 10, or 15 points. In big competitions it´s normally 15

Sally

This is Albins dog Sally she’s around 2 years old and is a briard.
She is very playful and loves to play with other dogs.
She especially likes a dog called Nelson.
She’s very cozy and loves to be with you.
And she’s got something weird against boxers. (The dogs)
And she would never hurt a human.

We took the camera to the stables about a mile away from where we live. Freja has her horse Liptuz there. he is seven years old and is imported from Denmark. Freja rides him every day.
Next to the stables there is a field with cows, they are so cute.

Kalmar FF - National soccer champions!

Last spring we were invited to a challenge by our local newspaper. They wanted us to challenge the players in Kalmar FF, the Swedish soccer champions last season. The challenges were not soccer, but playing cards, spelling, singing, knocking down cans with a tennis ball, catching balloons filled with water, European capitals etc. We won 8 of the 15 challenges and beat the champions! The prizes were free tickets and seats for the whole class for the match versus Hammarby from Stockholm in the national league. Kalmar FF won 3-0 and we were allowed to join them into the locker room directly after the match for autographs, souvenirs, taking photos and interviews. The match was especially interesting becuse it was the last match for #18 Rasmus Elm before joining Aalkmar in the Dutch professional league.
This time the national radio, press and tv had to wait until we were ready!
