We were invited to the media center at "Barometern", our local newspaper.First we had a photo taken.
The we learned more about newspapers
Then we we tried to find articles in today's newspaper.
The media center is well equipped with computers and work stations.
Then we tried to make a new first page with photos, headlines and text.
We pasted what we had cut out on a piece of paper in the same size as page.
The last thing wid did was to read about a robbery, listen to witnesses, chose a picture and write the headlines for a first page. We had acess to professional tools for editors, lots of pictures from the paper's photographers and made a first page on the computer. Great fun!

For lunch we have a tray with different sections to hold our food so our food does not mix together. For specials we have music, art, computer, library, P.E., and Chinese language. Sincerely, Morgan
ReplyDeleteYou students are really lucky to have wood cutting related arts classes. We only have 5 related arts classes they are gym, computers, foreign languages, music, and art. My favorite class is gym what is your favorite classes. How hard is your related arts class? My hard related arts class is gym because we do fitness tests to see how our bodies work. From Michael
ReplyDeleteI can’t believe you have woodshop as related arts. We have PE (gym), computers, foreign language, Music and art. Also I can’t believe you use plates instead of trays like me? We have a little in common and a little different.
ReplyDeleteAt recess we go to a field and do gymnastics too. I can do flips, cartwheels, bridges, and even a split like you guys. We have a playground, with swirly slides, rock climbing wall, a field, swings and a bridge! We usually go in the field to do the flips and basically all the gymnastics in there. Well we also are going to do a play for the people in the grades for 2nd – 5th grade. We also do that at recess. Well now I know what your school is like and now you know what my school is like. I can’t believe that you students have woodshop I wish my school had woodshop. But we have PE(gym) it is really fun and you students have a castle near your school
