During the autumn break Sofia has been in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. This is the City Hall. It’s built of 8000 000 bricks.

In the Blue Hall in the City Hall the yearly Nobel banquet takes place.

At the table of honour in the middle of the hall eat the Nobel Prize winners, the royal family and other guests of honour dinner.

Before the dinner all guests of honour, the king, the queen, the two princesses, the prince and of course the Nobel Prize winners go down this staircase. It’s 1400 guests in the Blue Hall at the Nobel banquet.

After the dinner they go upstairs to a room called the Golden Hall and dance. The walls are covered with golden mosaic pieces. Here is a picture from the Golden Hall.
